Wedding Season is here and in full force! We have had two wonderful couples already grace the Taylor-Grady House this month for their beautiful, fun filled wedding receptions! Both couples were married right down the street at First Methodist Church in downtown Athens! Post ceremony, guests filed in through the front door of the house and into the dining room and ballroom for a cocktail hour followed by dinner and dancing outside on the back lawn!
Both couples opted for a tent over the lawn and patio. |

Yesterday, the Junior League of Athens (Stewards of the Taylor-Grady House) held their annual Past Presidents Luncheon at the Taylor-Grady House. I wanted to share this with you all because it's just another example of the variety of events we hold and can hold at the TGH. It was a simple, elegant luncheon with a great group of women and a great message! Many of these ladies have come to know the Taylor-Grady House as their home away from home so it was really nice to have them back for a visit! |

We had so much fun at the 2012 Athens Wedding Professionals Bridal Show at the Georgia Center on the UGA campus this past Sunday! It was great to see several of our Brides & Grooms and to meet so many more couples! We hope to fill up those last few open weekends on the calendar now! This was a great event put on by a hardworking group of AWP members and great exposure for the Taylor-Grady House! It's so fun to be a part of a group of local vendors and to see all the displays at the show! Special thanks to Epting Events for letting us borrow a beautiful table cover & Always Always flowers for the flower arrangement! |

Dear Taylor-Grady House faithful -
New Year, New Director, New Website! This year we are starting 2012 off with a bang! Our new Administrative Director and Event Coordinator started on January 3 and is excited to start working with all of our wonderful brides and grooms! We have also decided to give a little TLC to our website and we hope you enjoy it!
